If they didn't keep that wing nut cranked down good and tight on the stand it might just float away.

Cool!
I know its not an Old A (or even an A at all) but................ I have a Dream Bliss Paper Thin 22" (actually measures about 21 3/4") that is 1652 grams. Talk about thin! I love, love LOVE this cymbal and for as thin as it is, it actually has a good stick, a surprisingly decent bell and of course is very crashable and wobbles like crazy. I can't imagine playing a jazz gig without it. It reminds me a lot of Brian Blade's 24" Spizzichino that he uses on almost every gig. If anyone wants to see a video, I'd be happy to post one.

Any audio of it? I have always been interested in the Dream Bliss line after hearing a killer 22" at Guitar Center, not buying it, and then returning the next day to find it gone.

By comparison, that 2080 gram trans on eBay seems to be on the heavy side. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Ok. I can film a video. If I can't post it in the next day, it will have to wait a week, but I'll post it for you.

Thanks. Whenever you get chance. Among my son's many ride cymbals he has a 20" and 22" Dream Bliss. Just curious how a really thin one sounds.

It's basically a big crash cymbal that you can ride on if you do it lightly. I think it's a really nice cymbal and I could see it being applied to a quiet jazz gig. I like it. EDIT: This isn't me or my cymbal. The way I worded my post makes it seem like it's me and mine...but it's not.
