Default Oddball Ludwig Jazzfest - 2 badges

Have you Ludwig guys seen this on Reverb? A Jazzfest with a 2nd badge on the INSIDE of the drum!

It's listed as: 1967 Ludwig Festival Snare Drum White Marine Pearl w/ Period Correct Case

Regards, MB

I've seen drums with this anomaly posted on the forum in the past. The badge on the interior seems to be a way to snug up the badge that is seen on the outside of the drum. I don't think it serves a similar purpose as an extra button sewed to the shirt tail.

I had a WFL "masonite shell" snare drum with about 7 wfl badges on the inside shoring up the grommet. Apparently, not unusual for back then?

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

The inside of the breather hole is blown out a bit from the drill bit and you've got at least 100 more to do before your shift ends...

do you

A: go off in search of the right sized washer to shore up the grommet?

or

B: Just grab another badge out of the bin?

I think you know the answer.
