I just had to have it I have not seen one of these before..
I won another auction this was 42.00 shipped...

If we look into names it true name is Tumbadora, The names conga quinto and tumbadora were later give as american name for the purpose of identification by sizes.

Hello Mike, about five years ago I bought the contents of a drum storage room
in Ansonia CT. lots of Japanese shells and marching stuff
but one of the items was a Zim Gar conga drum shell (no heads or hardware)
mine is a little newer me thinks
the badge is a cool script design and the shell is made of fiberglass
looking for a picture but I may not have one.
