Re: 1966 Rogers Silver Sparkle Drums

If you ever do buy a Rogers set, be careful of the later swivomatic design specifically the large collet nuts with the ears. The later ones were cast and the ears would break off if tightened too...

Re: Gladstone snare drums list?

One thing I don't understand when there is an enormous starting bid such as in this case, why charge a separate
shipping fee on top of the asking price. There must be a hefty profit margin to...

Re: Asba Referendum 1977 Cork Wrap

Very interesting, was not familiar with them, especially the tom mounts on the BD. I wish you success in finding a matching snare.

Re: Ludwig and Ludwig Floor Tom Project

I have been hesitant to inform you that I have a bare 18X16 floor tom shell that may fit what you want, only because I'm not sure if it would be a match for what you seek. But I will let you make...

I agree with each and every comment made, and I am also retired now in my 70s.
As for every topic being discussed already, the sentiment is the same in the Ford Mustang hobby as the members of those...

Re: Ludwig and Ludwig Floor Tom Project

Just curious, what color scheme duco paint are your current shells, does your project plans include repainting or wrapping?
Always interesting to hear or learn of other's projects.

Re: Rogers 14x14 blue sparkle in NJ

I wondered about the BD center mount dual tom holder with the tom bracket hanging on the one arm. The snare was attached to that tom bracket like a cocktail outfit?

Re: Rogers BigR XP8 Swivo era mix

Last week I purchased two 9X13 Rogers Dayton toms in their original silver broken glass. I am thinking of placing them between the two bass drums and in front of the 8X12 & 9X13 turquoise toms in...

Re: Best Head for Brushes?

I inspected the drum head today, (which I have not yet mounted and tensioned/stressed it), I found flaking around the edges. I'm not surprised as I thought it might due to the rippling effect that...
