Sonor Snare ID heip

I picked this snare up a few days ago and I'm trying to figure out which model it is. Is it a D454? I paid $200 CAD which seemed reasonable. The strainer mech is a little wonky but it looks well...

Re: Super Sensitive question

You could drill a shallow countersink on the inside of the shell. A Forstner bit slightly bigger than the nut would be ideal.

Re: Value of Date Stamp 1969 Acrolite

In Canada you can You can get $200 to $300 for a keystone Acrolite, depending on it's condition. I just sold a 70's Acrolite in near mint condition for $200.

Re: Ludwig snare in Butcher Block wrap???

I have a 54"x22" sheet of BB wrap. I can't say it's the wrap Ludwig used in the 70's but it sure looks like it. I would be willing to let it go for $40+shipping.

Re: Ludwig Blue Cortex Scratch Repair?

I don't think Novus is going to fix that on it's own. I think your going to have to wet sand that first and then buff with Novus 3,2 and 1.
