Time consuming but I have used a hobby size rock tumbler to "polish" parts in the past. Different grits to gradually get the look you want.

I find 4 leg 18" toms as early as a 1967 catalog thru 1975 catalogs. And 3 legs seem to start in the '76/77 and later catalogs. Maybe one of the first 3 leg models?

Restored a setup with the snare, single tom, and cymbal hanging off the bass drum a couple of years ago. Ended up sell it to a well known collector. He loved to setup and sound.

Thought price was way high until I see it includes Free Shipping. That's $75-100 at current costs. Makes consideration closer, but think still a bit pricey for me at least.
