-Desirable (fairly rare) wrap
-Desirable Sizes (assuming it's 12"/14"/20")
-Center Mounted Lugs on all the drums (usually the center mounted lug kits didn't come with floor toms, so a...

Re: WMP Wrap Pc.

Failing this, you could always take some small pieces from under a lug, bracket or spur.

MIJ Club Date Blue Sparkle 12/14/20/14 SD

Greetings.

This is an unbranded MIJ kit. It has the thicker shells with no re-rings. When I got these, the insides of the shells were painted gloss black. I sanded the insides and repainted...

Re: 1964 Ludwig Pioneer

I have a 66 Pioneer that I love.

I would check out Remo Skyntone heads. I've never used real calfskin heads, but those that have say they are the closest modern head to real calfskin. They are...

Re: Early Pacific Drum set questions

Excellent info here.

PDP also made a 3" x 13" Steel Shell Piccolo Snare Drum with those lugs that was around in the mid-2000's. I have one and it's great.

I like the different names for the...

Re: Wet sanding black diamond pearl wrap

I wet sanded a Silver Glitter MIJ kit a while back with great results. I used a 3M Headlight Restorer kit. It came with the sandpaper, pads and the "sandpaper holder" that you put in a drill. I...

Re: Whitehall Kick Leg

Hi JR,

Is the diameter 3/8"/9.5 mm? I imagine it is. Although it won't be curved, you can go to the hardware store and get some 3/8" solid steel rod material and cut it to the length you need. ...

Re: MIJ Rail and Cymbal Mount

Hi JR,

The hole spacing on that cymbal bracket should be 1 7/8". A Ludwig P1216D Bracket will fit that perfectly. A Gibraltar Cymbal L-Arm will work well, as it's 3/8"/9.5mm in diameter.

As...

I hope these work out for you.

Another thing you can do to gain more length if you need it is this simple solution, although it would not be "Authentic" or "original", it still works, as I have...

Those look like "Standard" lugs, yes?

Also, based on the little bit of the inside of the bass drum shell I can see, it looks like there is no "Granitone" interiors and might be maple?
