Re: Late 40's Slingerland marching snare

Thanks guys. I've used some goo-gone on chrome rims and pedals to remove stuff but I was a little concerned about using it on nearly 50 year old wraps. I also didn't want to cause any of the...

My first set restoration

I've had the great fortune to get a 1967 Ludwig drum set in oyster blue. They are missing bottom hoops and several lugs on the bass drum but otherwise it's all in great shape. I do have a few...

Re: Forget about drums, collect Twinkies

How are we in a recession when people can spend that much on Twinkies? What's next? Instead of drum shows there will be junk food shows that people can buy, sell and trade twinkies and ding dongs. ...

Looking for 8 inch hoops and Tama memory lock

I'm needing 1 or 2 8 inch hoops. Nothing special, just a basic hoop and preferrably used. I've tried to check out local drum shops and none have an used 8 inch hoop.

I'm also needing a memory...

Re: Best way to ship Media Mail on drum magazines?

The guy also said to just talk to the post office people and they can help you out. He was saying that most of the time they have deals and options that are not posted.
