Larryz, The black painted interior had me baffled too. I''ve got most of it off using a super sharp chisel (from new), very gently scraping it off. Clear lacquer underneath virtually untouched.

Late in on this one but colour in the lacquer was how they were done (as Stedi points out). I've got a similar potential project but just one moss green Oaklawn bass drum and a lot of odd formerly...
