Loading...

I have just got my set of late 60s early 70s (i think) rogers drums. I was

wondering if you guys may be able to help me identify them, the sizes are 24x14

14x10 and 16x16. I have attached the auction links. Any help would be greatly

appreciated.

Regards

Doug

First off, someone that owned that set should be slapped.I can't tell if it was stripped of wrap and painted or if it was just painted. The wood showing on the face ply looks pretty dark, from what I understand rogers did make some kits with a natural wood exterior, wildwood which was catalogued, maple, and I have seen some mahogany, which from what I have heard was not catalogued.I am pretty sure that the non swivo mount is a premier.I have seen dayton 16x24 kicks, and I have heard that clevelands do exist, the 10x14 tom was cataloged by 1973,so my best guess because of the speckled interior would be between 1967 to 1976 with the sizes making me think 1970 or later fullerton california era.
