Hi, all - I bought a Sonor Sonic Plus kit sight-unseen yesterday. I pick it up next week. The kit is spotless and pretty cool. Late 80s/early 90s, six-ply birch, made in Germany. Price: $300, including cymbals, stands, and accessories.
But here's the kicker: it comes with a six-piece cowbell rack! After I learn to play Jingle Bells on this baby, I'm going to master "The Reaper" in six separate keys. Gotta...have...more...cowbell!
Gonna make Christopher Walken proud.

That's a nice kit, I had a red stained one for many years. It was my first sonor kit and really enjoyed it. The badges on your kit(same as mine) started about 97 or 98 and they are the german made birch shells.
Does it come with the snare?

Thanks, Gary - I am excited to pick these up. Hoping to follow my usual MO: sell the accessories for the purchase price and keep the drums for free. The kit doesn't come with a snare, but I'm on the lookout for one. I would appreciate any leads. I'm having trouble finding any Sonic Pluses on the market, through ebay or craigslist nationwide. Are these drum more rare then I realized? Any idea on their value? Thanks!
