Hello all. I am having a problem with some of the T-rods and or lugs on my 70's era Slingerland bass drum. When I play, some of the T-rods will de-tune to the point of almost falling off of the drum. I've tried tuning the drum higher, but this still happens (although it does take longer) and I don't like that I can't tune the drum as low as I would like to. I am wondering if I need to replace the T-rod, the lug, or both. Or is it possible to replace just the sleeve that the T-rod threads into. Or is there another solution. Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I'm not that great of a drum tech. Thanks.
