Script vs. Big R badge Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

I have a 9/72 Fullerton era Londoner 13, 14, 18 & 24 along with a 69' Dyna; have been looking for a 16 but not too many available and when I find some either they are in very bad shape or they ask a huge amount of money. I found a 16, black wrap just like my Londoner but has the Big R label instead of the script badge.

It has swivo mount like mine and the interior is gray speckle paint like mine. If it was not for the Big R label it would look just like mine except no 9/72 paper tag inside.

Is this the same shell like my Londoner? I would be tempted to remove the Big R label and replace it with an extra script badge i have.

Would that cheapen my set ?

If it's got swivo leg brackets it's an early Big R model, 75-76.

Same shell as your kit.

I think your plan is a good one. Check pics to make sure you put the script badge on in the right location and use nails, not screws.

Also, I'd try to save the big R badge as much as possible and maybe move it to the inside of the shell (but that's just me).

Hi there,

I'm the proud new owner of a Rogers Dyna-Sonic, serial number 30750. When was this fine drum build?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Ole, Denmark
