Found this old Rogers snare yesterday. It's tagged as a Newport

model with the number 7816. It was wrapped with black contact paper.

It has the white marine pearl wrap. Can anyone give me the year

of this? I'm thinking of making a snare for my set out of it. It measures

14" x 10.

Is that what the drum looks like? If so, probably around the late 50's to early 60's.
