Not very educated on Rogers and thought I would post a question, as I know I will get the right answer here!

I recently saw a 5x14 Rogers brass engraved snare, and as I know it isn't vintage had no idea they were manufactured. I have looked online to find information as to the years they were produced but have found nothing. I believe this one could have been a remake of one they made years ago, as it has the script Rogers badge but not sure.

Is the sound close to that of a Ludwig? What is a reasonable price to pay?
