I have a Ludwig BB, and I want to replace the top rim with a Die Cast. First, can I just replace the top rim with a die cast? And secondly, will any 14" 10 hole die cast rim work on the BB?

you'll be fine with any die cast hoop. of course, you can always order a Ludwig die cast hoop from any Ludwig dealer.

i actually like the Pearl die cast hoops a lot.
