I was wondering if anyone could explain the rareness of this complete set found in the 1971 catalog. The set includes exactly what the catalog displays along with the 14" super-sensitive 410 instead of the 13". Original cases are in decent shape and overall shells are great. Heads need cleaned but I could not believe I have an original set!! It was purchased for my father as a wedding gift from my grandparents. I thought it was a mix and match set until I found out it is this rare original kit. Someone please help direct me in what to do with this set!! Help2

Cool drums! Looks like a killer ska/reggae kit.
Personally, I would think owning a kit that belonged to my dad as a gift from my grandparents would be priceless. But, that's just me...

Frodog, please, post some pix of YOUR drums. We cannot give you more specific info until we see the EXACT condition of your kit. A catalog is a nice thing to have, but pix are worth a thousand bucks, catalogs bring about 10....
