Hi there. I've had this snare for a while, and I think it sounds fantastic, but it has two issues....

1. the snares are starting to break. I understand that puresound will custom make drilled snares for this mechanism and I'm wondering if anybody here has had this done.

2. the throw likes to slowly disengage itself. It doesn't really make it through a full song before it starts to slip from vibration. I can't find anything to adjust that seems to help at all and I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with this thing. Or, has anybody ever replaced this throw with something simpler and more reliable?

I'm told this is a S-017 throw, but research of that part number on this forum didn't turn up anything so I apologize if this is a redundant post.

Also, in the photos you can see the badges on the kick drum and I'm wondering if you can tell me anything about this kit.
