For sale is my prized Mapex Phosphor Bronze (now called Blank Panther - same drum) snare drum. Its 5.5x14 and it combines the warmth of wood with the crack of bronze. Mapex quality is one of the best kept secrets in drum world as this one has lasted me years and comparable snares of other brands have long failed since. Has all original hardware and new heads (1 month old). The power hoops are black and just amazing!

I bought this new for over $500 in the 1990s. But I saw on various forums where they go around $250 used.
