hey guys, i am looking at buying this snare drum and i know the price is a tad high...but i am in oz..so everything is inflated. any forum members own one or have ever owned one?... i am going to go see if i can view it later in the week before i make a bid...any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have a green sparkle Auditorium (like this one, but with bowtie lug casings). One of my favorite snares! The green sparkle wrap really brings out the woody tones...

I have a 1960 pre serial number School festival it is one of my all time favorite snare drums hands down!. It has a very wide tuning range. I have it equipped with Remo Emperor white coated on the batter side and Ludwig clear on the snare side with Puresound Steel snare wires 22 strand. you will not be disappointed with this drum if you buy it. The picture shows it with an Evans head that is a G2 which is their double ply head also equal to a Remo Emperor they are a little brighter sounding than an Emperor remo head.
