Thanks for the info!!! You made my day. When I started thinking about serial numbers and mismatching drums that might be vastly different, I was very disappointed. I am quite the stickler and very picky when it comes to collecting. I am glad that they at least seem to be all very close, except for the one floor tom. Fortunate and yes, probably rare. Are you asking if each badge should have the same serial number for the kit to have the most value?
I guess I was wondering if they did even exist, where as a kit had identical or at least numbers in some sort of sequence, i.e 890001, 890002

The only instance of this would be in the case(s) of:
-Some 1970 B/O badge kits that had NO serial numbers.
-And even further back were some pre-serial number keystone badges...but I digress. x-mas3

Okay Mr. O lug....I did some research and I guess there is no such thing as luck, or maybe a bit. The bass drum (877217) and the floor tom (864551) were purchased from the same seller and I can assume, were from the same kit. The tom tom (892079) was purchased from somebody else, but I did get it dated as a 1971 tom......cool!Jump For Joy
