Unless the Tom Mills snare was in there I don't see that going for anywhere near that.
Older European snare drums are priced in the 200.00 or less on average,the only one that might have a high value would be the Leedy,how much you would get on top of that if you could prove they were in Ludwigs collection I would not know,and while owning a Hitler youth drum does not make one a Nazi,I don't think I would want to own one.

I know the seller, he's in the industry, and "3" has been selling off stuff for a few years, so I don't think there's a question the drums were in the family. A little pricey for my taste as well, but somebody will porobably nab them.
