Almost all drums are worth a little cleaning or restoring whether they sound great or not. It comes down to what you spend on them compared to what they're worth, unless it's a sentimental thing.

Veneer Supply is great and their prices are reasonable compared to other places I looked for veneer. Here's a basic layout of what you can get out of a 4 X 8 sheet of veneer. Sizes are approximate and I had to resize so I hope you can see it.

Since we're talking about Rockers and black & white badges I guess this is an appropriate thread to ask this...I see snare drums that look like Acrolites (grey shell, 8 bowtie lugs, P-85), but they have the black & white badge. I guess they are Rockers because of the badge. Is the shell the same aluminum as the Acrolite or is it steel?
