Ludwig 14x10 marching snare. What era?

Loading...

Thanks in advance for helping me identify this drum and parts thereof. Its a 14x10 Ludwig but, the drum has no badge or serial number. Was there a transition time when these appeared without badges? I see no outline or evidence that it ever had a badge attached to the shell. Second, are these heads original, vintage heads or reissues? (the batter head is coated and has a kind of appearance like grayish sand. When did Ludwig use these strainers? Much apperciated.

Those are newer Ludwig heads on there. The badge would have been installed where the brass grommet is. That's a clear maple interior 3 ply. Its most likely a late 60's/early 70's drum.
