this was put together and given to me by my boss. let me explain...i tend bar at a small bar in a lit'l town close to me. my dad and stepmom ran a karaoke bussiness for about 15 yrs, they are both gone now, loss my dad in nov of 2010 and my stepmom 2 yrs b4. this is one of the flyers they would use for advertisement. the dollar was signed and given to the owner of the bar by my dad and stepmom on opening nite when the new owner took over the bar (dad and stepmom were doing karaoke that nite) . others did the same and the owner taped the dollars above the bar mantle for keepsakes. anyway when i started working there, i noticed the dollar and asked my daughter (she also works at this bar) if she would ask the owner if i could buy that dollar.(she sees and knows the owner more then i do) i'd pay what ever amount. so ollie (my daughter) talked to our boss (the manager) and she told ollie she would take care of it herself. so when i got to work yesterday, karen (our boss) handed me a box and said this is for you. i opened the box and totally lost it, i couldn't hold it back, tears just poured. we don't have very many keepsakes from our dad, so what we do have is very sacrid. this was a very very kind thing for my boss to do. has changed my whole outlook on her too.
