Hi there!
I've got a drum set I've found on Craigslist but neither I nor the guy selling know what it is. He believes its from the 1930s or 1940s, but it has no badge (the badges fell off I guess) With it is a luggage tag that shows it being shipped overseas in '49.
Can anyone ID it?

Early-60's Pearl. Earlier drums had rim clips.
Can you explain what you mean by rim clips?
The rims were tightened down with separate clips as opposed to rims with holes pressed into the actual rim.
Were those lugs on the bass drum uncommon for Pearl at the time? I can't find pictures of any drums that match them.
Not really "Lugs" ... (as we know them) .. but guides for a single tension bass drum...
60's something? would be my guess... and the tom lugs look to me.. more like "Star Clones" of Slingerland ...

The ears on the mounted tom rim are definitely Pearl. Looks like a "baby" set, 10,18 w/a snare drum.
