Been looking at buying a Ludwig kit and i am thinking of going to have a look at this one on the weekend.
yes it seems a bit pricey (i am in australia) compared to you guys in the states.
can anyone tell me about what year, model and if it would be a good get

First off the acrolite is a newer not what is stated it's a blackrolite late 90's model just sold one to Australia for $125.00 wonder if this is it? also do you like power toms? also what is the asking price?, the kit is late 80's or early 90's it is a super classic kit modular hardware built like a tank with maple 6 ply shells they sound awesome. great rock kit. in the states it would sale for maybe $800.00 to $1000.00
I have to agree with Mark, nice kit but overpriced by almost $500. That's a lot of cake on either side of the Pacific. Shop here, shop ebay, wherever, but that kit is way overpriced at almost $1500. $800 to $1000 would be more like it. Power-toms is a deal-killer for me anyway. Unless you're 6'5" and you can reach them!

i will have to keep scanning here and i am sure someone on here will be willing to ship a shell pack to me?...my first preference is a 60's Ludwig and it will happen just got to be patient i guess!
