I've got in my sights a Geo Way snare and was wondering if anyone can tell me what its worth so I don't kick myself later.

WMP

6 lugs

Tuxedo lugs? (can't remember the name right now)

appears to be in good shape.

Thanks in advance

Hi Steven,

George Way snares should have the round Turret lugs.

The 5,5" deep 6-luggers are probably the least sought after and in todays market I've seen prices between 200$ and 300$ depending on the condition.

The most I've seen are in lacquer (duco) or mahogany finish, the WMP could be more valuable.

A great sounding drum,... here's mine.

Tuxedo lug George Way snare drums are quite rare and hard to find. They should fetch between $300-$400 depending on condition. Make sure to check the hoops for cracks especially on the bottom hoop around the snare gates.
