This is most likely a mid 50's 20" Avedis Zildjian. It has the 3 dot stamp much like the 60's. But the stamp is 1 1/4" tall as opposed to 1 3/16" and 1 1/2" like the 60's stamps have. This stamp also has some very specific telltale signs that can be referenced on Steve Black's page in this following link. Just scroll down to the 54ish area to view these.

This one is very dark and has some varied lathing that produces some nice sounds. The cymbal crashes well. The weight is 2275 grams. There are no cracks or any damage to the cymbal. It has been used quite a bit and shows some scratching, stains and keyhole. The bell is very full sounding. The hand hammering is evident but be could seen better if the cymbal was cleaned. I'll leave that chore to you if desired. At this weight, the cymbal is very versatile for most all types of music.
This cymbal would have been made right after the Trans stamps and near the period of the Large stamps and Hollow Block stamps. Selling this one at a fraction of a Trans stamp model. Please feel free to pm here or email to mikelayton@bellsouth.net if you have any questions. I do not have sound files for my cymbals. Thanks for looking.
