This is a great sounding 22" Avedis Zildjian ride cymbal. This should be an early 60's models as it has the 1 3/16" 3 dot stamp. I would consider this a nice medium/medium-heavy. Don't let the 2958 gram weight fool you. Old A's can be very versatile at many weights. This one has beautiful stick definition that can stay below the radar or really layed into. It crashes easily and has some edge wobble. The cymbal is somewhat flexible and has some beautiful hammering. The underside pics shows its beauty and complexity. The top side pic shows a diagonal mark across the cymbal. This is some type of casting feature that can barely be felt and is not seen on the underside. The cymbal is in very nice shape for a cymbal that is 50-55 years old. There are no cracks or keyhole issues. This is a nice one that I feel would fit any genre. I wish I could keep them all!
