This is a beautiful '65 Ludwig 5x14 6 lug Pioneer. The finish is original Black Lacquer. It has a red ink date stamp of May 8 1965. Serial number is 124030. Has chrome hardware,P83 strainer, script logo snare butt, white felt baseball bat muffler, all correct tension rods. Wires are 20 strand generic. Has a newer Ludwig medium coated batter head and a new Ludwig snare side head. Drum has original white resacote interior. The shell has no damage or issues. I see a couple of places that have been touched up before I got it. The paint is not flaking or peeling as some do with age. It really looks nice and sounds just as good. Only selling this one because I found a '66 in nickel to go with my kit. The drum has been detailed and needs nothing.
