This is a Ludwig 1123 Hi hat stand. This one has a good smooth action to it with plenty of life left in it. These were made for a very short period in the early 60's. Ringo played one of these for years. These are the first of the spurlok stands and the only one in flat base configuration. These are the ones to own! it has been thoroughly cleaned and needs nothing. Has new rubber feet. It includes a new hi hat clutch. it also has the original Ludwig embossed rubber hat cup with the bottom hat adjuster. This one also includes the strap and ball bearing underneath that are almost always missing. This helps keep the footboard rod held into the base of the pedal. Has both original wing nuts as well. The top portion of the upper rod does show some use but it is the original. If desired, a replacement is in the 15 dollar range.Two of these just sold for 338 and 349 dollars on ebay.
