I bought this one from a reputable forum member a few years ago. early serial number of 14173. no date stamp inside, but should be a 64 model. the wrap is faded to a darker shade on this one, like many sky blue pearl drums do. ive never tried any novus or anything like that on it. at some point someone added a key holder to one panel. it looks fine and didn't hinder me from buying it. I will include a key with the drum as well. chrome p83 and script logo snare butt. Ludwig chrome script wires. red felt baseball bat muffler. white resacote interior. has a brass batter hoop and steel snare side hoop. this was common during this transitional period. there is some chrome loss on the bottom hoop. has a vintage Ludwig ensemble medium coated head and a very neat Ludwig 100th anniversary snare side head. its clean as a whistle and sounds great. in the pic with both snares together, it is the one on the bottom.
