Awesome kit! Your new setup looks very cozy. :)

Thanks for the compliment on the kit. The colour was a do-it-yourself stain and clear-coating project last year and, Yes, it is a very cozy set-up. My sitting postion is fairly high and everything is nice and close at hand. I think that 6" is about the maximum reach I need to get to any one of my cymbals. There was another thread on here a while back about "How high is your hi-hat". It got some good responses that also touched on cymbal heights and tom placements. Might be worth a read.
