Thanks....and it sounds pretty good so far too.

Yes - I did just that.....I centered the lugs off the tom holder. It was a bit of fiddling around but things worked out.

Kevins - "Maple Exterior" Slingly shell.....now that sounds like a very good project! I'm stumblin along with all this drum fixing vintage stuff....you're welcome to stumble along with me anytime...

I put this little airhole in the drum a few minutes ago. I don't know why...but I had some laying around and I thought it would look cool there and maybe do some good as well.

Edit:

Set some drums up in the livingroom for fun.........Daisy our retriever doesn't seem to mind
