LOVE both of these snares, but unfortunately... I've found something else that I really want, so I need to sell these to fund it... :(
The C&C is 13 x 6.5" - looks like 6 - 8 ply, can't tell without pulling the heads off. *When I got this snare, i was told it was a maple shell, but on closer inspection of the ply, it looks like it might actually be a hybrid maple/mahogany shell (some of the plys are very light, while others are significantly darker - might just be different grain, though!). *Alls I know is this is the BEST sounding 13" snare I've ever owned... and I've owned a lot. *Every 13" snare I've owned always had lots of pop, but was super thin in body, so much so that I'd nearly given up on 13" snares until I got this one. *All the pop of a 13" with the full-bodied warmth of a 14, not to mention, a huge tuning range!
Other specs include:

Trick throw-off

Puresound 20-strand Blasters

8 Tube lugs

2.3" hoops

Hazy 300 reso head

Genera HD Dry batter head (needs replacing... I can go grab a new one and put it on there for whoever buys the snare - just let me know what you want on it and I'll see what I can do!)

Green glitter wrap (John Bonham style)
No dents, scratches, etc. on the drum, aside from some dust, it's in fantastic condition - $325 OBO. - SOLD!!
The Pork Pie Big Black Brass is a 14 x 6.5" nickel over brass snare, including 10 tube lugs with a Remo Ambassador batter and the original Pork Pie branded Remo reso head. *I used to own a Ludwig Black Beauty and Black Magic and sold both in favor of this. *While it wasn't quite as good sounding as the Black Beauty, the huge price difference certainly didn't reflect a huge difference in tone. *Wonderful sounding drum with plenty of warmth and that brass sound we all know and love.
This one is practically new, always babied. In fact, I got this snare and was forced to switch to an electric kit for most of my playing time, so this snare has only been used on a handful of recording sessions and nothing else - $175 OBO. - SOLD!!
