Cannon snare?? ID HELP!! Last viewed: 9 hours ago

Hello--found this snare shell recently. Will take pics if needed but heres the info: badge says Cannon Usa, Youngstown, Ohio. serial: 610. Finish is black and appears to be maple on the inside. Hoops say taiwan on them. 10 lug, dimensions are 6 1/2X 14 interior finish is natural wood with what looks like a sort of laquer. strainer is pretty large, hard to describe though sorry. No extra holes. Is this a decent snare? is it worth it for me to get it up and running sound wise? Im not looking to make money or anthing just wondering if it could be a decent sounding snare (for rock n roll) Thanks!

Cannon is known for parts and accessories and it was natural for them to offer a line of snare drums.

So I would gather the drums are entry level or priced for beginners and the wood snare drum usually came with the complete set.

Usually priced at $300 for the complete set with hardware and cymbals.

Then again a picture would surely confirm that.

Hello, I have the identical Cannon snare but it needs a few parts.

I'm quite interested in obtaining yours, so if your looking to let it go, I would like to discuss further with you. !

This thread is over 4 years old, man.

Perhaps you should just PM 70sPinkStrataPearl instead, to see whether he still has the snare.

I doubt he still has the thing, though, but you can always ask. Even though he hasn't been active since early 2007...

Good luck finding the parts you seek.
