Dont know if theres a thread on this already or not, if there is can somebody point me in the right direction? Here goes-What are the bearing edge specs on the big 4 drum company, Slingerland, Gretsch, Ludwig, Rogers or any for that matter. To limit it down to precise era we'll say 60s era since thats what I collect. I seem to like the sharp edges on the gretsch, and the premier seem to be pretty similar to the gretsch. I know some had the edges for each drum different, right? As in the rack tom may have a dif angle then the bass drum. This may sound odd but I have a certain kit, gretsch, that I like to play solo with no other instruments being played. But if Im playing with other guys in a band setting, rock, I prefer a dif set. A rogers. This kinda rambled into 2 different threads, but its all tied together for me. This way I can see if theres another brand out there that would suit me for gigging, or for playing alone with no other instrumentation. Never played, seen, or heard a slingerland, or camco in person. Interested in trying either of the two. Thanks, looking forward to hearing a response
