60's Slingerland Radio King prices Last viewed: 4 hours ago

All, since one of my holmies has been talking about how awesome his Radio King is, I thought I'd seek out one. I absolutely do not want a Clamshell strainer. I'm looking for a nice 3 pt strainer, 5.5" version in excellent shape.

Here's my question: How much should I expect to pay for one?

How much more expensive than a single ply Artist are they? I have a 70's 3 ply Artist and absolutely love it. Odd thing is that it is 5" deep. I'd like a Radio King for the 3 pt strainer.

Here's an example of one I like:

Thanks all.

Just ran in the drum room and took it. Uh, it is 5.5". I thought it was 5". And it isn't quite that dark of a blue in person. Absolutely no fade on the drum. Love it.

Yeah, I've been communicating with the seller on the ebay auction. Thought I'd be able to get him down, but he says he wants $750. Aint doing that!

I was thinking maybe $550 tops.

I'm just looking for a solid shell Slingy to go with my Artist and Buddy Rich snares. Love those drums.

Puuurrrdy !!!

I think you will find an RK at your price point or less with a little patience.

I'd run a Wanted thread here and on the DFO.

Good hunting, man....:):)
