18" Paiste 2oo2 black label crash-ride for sale or trade. Great, heavy cymbal. I am not using it as much these days and want to sell it to someone that loves vintage 2oo2 cymbals.

$120 shipped

You called it heavy. Do you have a wt? Also, could you give a description of the cymbal? Is it a pingy ride or a washy ride? How is the crash?

I am interested.

hello, and thanks for your interest. i dont have a weight, but i can try to get one for you. its a crash-ride, so its just slightly heavier and sturdier than a typical thin crash cymbal. the cymbal feels good when hit, not too soft not too hard. right in the middle.

the crash is mellow, dark with some hints of high notes when hit toward the edge. it opens up nicely on a roll. it has a long sustain though. it blends well in any musical situation. volume is mid level.

the ride is washy, cause its only an 18". i would say this cymbal leans toward the crash side of the crash-ride type. you can ride on it, but stick definition is a little lost. it opens up quick on riding.

if i was to compare it to any other paiste, it sounds closest to a paiste signature full crash. i have one and if you were to record them both blind i might not be able to tell them apart.

hope this helps

Sounds like a nice one.

Cracks, chips, keyholes, dings, flea bites?
