I'd guess that arizona chrome is referring to the fact that the air there is extremely dry, unlike somewhere coastal. So less pitting/rust.

You did extremely well. Beverly was a British company, that built some very well made drums. This was a high end snare drum most likely.

Actually those are half decent drums. They are the earlier era R360s which were made by yamaha. They probably have birch or beech shells.
