If that is a 2 piece shell, and the edge flange goes clear back to the shell and is soldered, then you got the drum for about 10% of its value.

You will probably find the BB to be superior to any Gretsch snare. Don't be too quick to sell. There is a reason several collectors want it.

Seems like Sonor and Premier are more plentiful where you are. Sonors in particular are more expensive in the U.S.
