Wrap bubbles Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Hi All,

Would anyone try to work on a 12" Slingy 60's Tom to eliminate a few bubbles?

How is that work done? The seams are tight and clean.

It's pretty much the only flaw in my bop kit except for BD hoop paint issues.

Thnx a lot

If they're not very big maybe just learn to live with them. Or, without seeing them you may be able to make a small slit at the edge of the bubble and if the air will squeeze out inject some adhesive in the slit and press it down. If the bubbles are somewhat large and you try this, when you try to flatten it out you will find the extra wrap that was a bubble is now a little too big to lay perfectly flat.

I've done this on other materials with small bubbles with mixed results. Maybe some pros will help you out here.

Believe it or else!

Not too handy.

I think I'll bring it over to Precision for a fix.

Thnx
