There's a guy on DFO selling one now. He's asking $350 plus $25 shipping.
Witch Slingerland snare is this? Last viewed: 19 hours ago
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

If I were selling, I would ask $300.If I were buying, I would offer $250.At a no reserve auction I would expect to see it sell for anywhere between $200-$400.I wouldn't pay $400, but it is an uncommon snare, so someone might. Those prices are assuming it is all there, original parts, and no damage or mods.
Can you show a pic of the snares? The original ones extend all the way past the edge of the shell. The TDR strainer was one of Slingerland's best.
These are great sounding drums, although I've never seen the need for having twelve lugs on a snare...makes tuning a bear
Looks like it is a Spitfire, model #203.

Yep...a No. 203 Spitfire. I had one with my 1972 Rogers Celebrity kit. See the attached picture. Those 12 lugs drove me crazy! Of course, it's been about 4 decades since I had that drum and I've learned how to tune a 12 lug drum. Wish I still had the Spitfire!
