Who made this drum?

Can anyone help me identify the maker of this 10x14 snare drum? There's no badge and the wood looks like Mahogany (luan?). Judging by the strainer it looks very old. Has anyone come across one like it?

Thanks for your help!

Looks to me like Ludwig claws, t-rods and strainer...maybe mid - late 1920s Cadet model.

Great! Clapping Happy2

I thought that strainer looked like old Ludwig but I wasn't certain.

I forgot to mention that the bottom hoop looks to be originally trimmed/sanded ever so slightly to accommodate the snares.

I was going to strip and refinish the outside of the shell and hoops to natural wood. Is that ok to do with vintage wood drums, or a no-no like with vintage guitars?

Thanks for your expertise!
