Possibly the original owners still. I've heard stories that the original building where they were made is still owned by the family, with machinery still inside....

Are there still new snare wires being made/sold with the Duplex name?

They have a variety of Percussion items, not sure about snare wires.

Hard to tell. Various "WhoIs" searches turns up mixed results. A real estate company in FL. owns the Duplex.com domain. Duplex.net is listed as private.

Nothing special here but I like them.

The Vintage Drum Guide on this site states that Grossman Music Corp. still uses the name on many products.

The snare wires I have seen in stores and online still have the same Duplex logo they used on the paper tags in Duplex drums in the `60s-`70s.
