Hey everyone, I picked this Drumset up from a friend and know nothing about it. I was curious if anyone here could tell me anything about its age or value?? It's just a 3-piece white Yamaha Stage Custom with a Virgin bass drum. Thanks!

Nice drums. but even with virgin bass.. add $200? Total value $500 maybe? No great desire for vintage Yamahas except Recording Customs like previously mentioned.
Looks like a turn of the century Stage Custom kit. Those were inner layers of Phillipine Mahogany, Falkata, and sometimes a layer of Birch on the outer. Nice sounding drums with a minimal resale.
These are great BUYER'S drums; but horrible SELLER'S drums.
They sound really nice, are very round and have good bearing edges. With the heads you prefer, they sound very good and record well.
Selling them is difficult, because they are a lower line kit. As mentioned, mainly due to the wood species used in the shells. BUT, those shells are still constructed to a very high standard, which is why they are easy to tune and sound just fine.
The virgin bass is a bit odd. You rarely see that in ANY Yamaha line (except most recently).
Enjoy them. You will not get rich flipping them.
