White bass drum resonant

Loading...

Where can I find a plain white bass drum resonant head. I want to put a logo on but I don't want to put it underneath the company logo of the head.

20". The guy at Memphis Drum told me I could get rid of the logo that is on there with some nail polish remover. I tried that and it did not work.

Thanks

make sure that it's a smooth white head and not a coated head, the acetone will remove the coating on the coated head, but not on a smooth white head

yes I agree Get "SMOOTH" White heads NOT "coated" white..and nail polish remover WITH Acetone WORKS...some of the scented ones are acetone free. WHen you apply the liquid to a towel or rag and start rubbing at first it will seem like it is not working..then once the "ink" starts to come off it will all come off quicker.

O.K. thanks. I think I did use a scented remover. Crap, I think the head I have on there is coated.

make sure it HAS Acetone in it. Maybe you can use the coated head for the back side (batter) and get a smooth for the front? If you are going to buy a new head email me so I can make a great suggestion for you.

If It didn't remove the coating on the head then it's ok, or do as statuscymbal suggested!

If you do not want to bother removing the logo, just put it on the bottom upside down.

Do they still make that spray on coating. Maybe just to cover up the logo instead of removing it.

vintagelogos.com sells Aquarian heads with no logo -- click here.

But if anyone wants to remove logos from coated heads... According to a post by Eric Sooy (Black Swamp, Drum Foundry) on drumforum.org, this ink thinner will remove ink logos without ruining a coated finish.
