What's Up w/This Holiday Kit? Last viewed: 43 minutes ago

I was interested at first - seemed like a sweet deal. (The floor tom is actually 14x14.) But then I started seeing the different lugs of different Rogers eras. Is it a newer (60's) kit with the old style lug replacements, or older kit with new style replacement lugs. Kind of goofy.

Everything. I would definitely pass. Floor tom is rare, 16x14, that be depth by head. But it is kind of hammered.

The kit is worth the price. That is indeed a rare 16x14 floor tom in steel grey ripple and fairly early Cleveland example judging by the serial number. Simply added to the other pieces at a somewhat later date. Even though the other two drums are very tired and/or friends of Black & Decker and who know who else, there are still a lot of useful parts and wrap for inlay, etc. High boy hoops on the 12" for one thing.

Might be that you can have a 16x14 steel grey floor tom for around $500-600 when you are done selling off the balance to someone who needs it.
