I have to re-wrap my first set of Ludwigs, black sparkle. The black paint was really chipping off and I tried that 56 dollar wrap on Eba and that stuff does not hold up well in a warm to hot car. Anyway that is a moot point if my guitar player retires heck Joe is only 89 years young. He gets a bit low when his knee goes out and the doctors visits get him down as well. I have been gigging for 7 straight years with 2 different bands.I want to keep it going.

buy gold and silver!!!!but not after august, the prices are really going to take off $$$$$ and Vote..

From jonnistix

Now, to answer the OP, I just want a phucking job! 2 years of U/E is killing me!

jonnistix,

I feel for you... I spent about 16 mos total on UE "benefits" since fall of '08. And now work for less than half of what I did make (which is less than the UE benefits!)! Good luck!

I've never been into New Year's resolutions, but I REALLY need to complete several projects BEFORE I buy much more. That seems to be the biggest thing that I need to "balance" out. I was able to re-arrange enough in my garage to get my van back into it last week!

Here's what I've got going. Some will be re-wraps, some not. Thought I'd list this stuff 'cause MAYBE somebody would be interested in working some sort of deal BEFORE I get started... This "list" is in no particular order.

Ludwig 3 ply shells w/rings (all need wrap): 14x22, 14x24, 10x14, 2-9x13, 16x16.

Ludwig 4 ply shells (Rockers, no wrap): 16x24, 16x18, 13x14 (ten lug)

Ludwig 6 ply shells (no wrap): 16x24, 16x16, 13x14 (ten lug)

Slingerland 60s (clear interior 3ply w/rings, need wrap): 14x24, 16x16, 16x18, 8x12, 12x15

Slingerland 60s (as above): 14x22 Sky Blue Pearl, 9x13 Red Pearl, 10x14 Red Pearl, 2 or 3 9x13 black chrome

Rogers "Big R" (multi-ply): 14x24 solid blue

70s Pearl Fiberglass: 14x22, 16x16, 9x13, 8x12 solid blue

70s Pearl Fiberglass: 14x22, 14x16, 9x13 (now wrap), 8x12 (solid blue)

Pearl Presidents (phenolic shells): 8x12, 9x13 (Red oyster pearl)

80s Pearl Maple Shells: 2-16x24 (chrome wrap), 8x12, 9x13, 10x14 concert toms (no wrap)

I've also got several Ludwig, Slingerland, and Dynasty marching drums and bass drums (I mean several: probably 30+)

Also 2 or 3 Ludwig concert bass drums (32" +)

Most of the above I have most of the hardware, rims, etc.

I think you can see why I'd like to get some of this moved BEFORE I find another big lot!!

Well, I may as well toss in my bucks worth of wishes...

Yep, good health is tops. Make time to play with my other hobby. Actually DO something with all the Ludwig orphans I seem to acquire. Finish up a couple of MIJ kits that are sitting in drum bags in the garage...

Continue to keep my wife happy... oh yeah, we'll be living through a major re-model this spring... um, can't wait... (did you note the sarcasm?)

Continue to read this forum... I have more jollies reading this stuff than should be legal.

jonni: Best of luck in your search... I hope '12 brings you more job offers than you can handle.

Now, on that... I need to log in and pay my state taxes... thpppt.
